Employee of the Month: Annette McMillan

The Assisted Housing Department choose Annette McMillan for Employee of the Month for the month of October.

Annette McMillan started her journey with the Tampa Housing Authority in February 2022 as a Housing Specialist. During this time, she had shown that with her experience, job performance and job knowledge, she was quickly promoted to the Assisted Housing Trainer position.

As the Assisted Housing Trainer, Annette eagerly jumped at the tasks and excelled and exceeded expectations by revamping the existing training program while also training existing new hires to the department. Recently, Annette was also able to juggle different trainings, while trying to assist with a full case load.

When there were no new hires to train, Annette offered to assist current staff with any issues or/and concerns they might be experiencing also sat one on one with staff who needed assistance with their Quality Control fails. I love Annette's enthusiasm to her position and her continued desire to make our training program the best it can be. She is also our department's volunteer photographer.
