Housing Opportunity For Persons With AIDS (HOPWA)

The Tampa Housing Authority operates a HOPWA program through funding from the City of Tampa. The HOPWA program was established by U.S. HUD to fund services that specifically benefit low-income persons medically diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and their families. HOPWA funding provides housing assistance and related supportive services as part of HUD's Consolidated Planning initiative.
