Employee of the Month: Luis Blanco

The Facilities Department choose Luis Blanco for Employee of the Month for the month

of December.

Luis Blanco has been with THA for only four years, and during that time has been lauded

by his Supervisors and Directors, has volunteered for committees and activities, and has

been promoted for his excellent work.

He has shaped, and now leads, the Facilities Self-Inspection program, where every THA

unit is inspected according to HUD NSPIRE guidelines twice per year. Last month Luis

completed our first self-inspection at a third-party managed property. He worked with

the team at Gardens at SouthBay to inspect 209 of their 216 units and trained a new

inspector while doing so.

Luis is attentive to detail, proactive, and communicative. He improves every process that

he touches and enriches our lives with his joy.
