The Tampa Housing Authority is extremely pleased with the Live Local Act. This groundbreaking Florida legislation designed to increase the availability of attainable housing sets a new precedent for robust funding of affordable housing in our state, providing $711 million in both funds and tax incentives. The Tampa Housing Authority will work diligently to take full advantage of the provisions outlined in the new law, and it is eager to partner with developers to increase the inventory of affordable housing for both rental and ownership in our region. We welcome the law and are fully vested in expanding options for Tampa workers who seek to live in the communities where they serve.
