THA First to Offer "Buy it Rent it PROFIT" Education Platform to Landlords, Leading in Housing Innovation

TAMPA, Fla. - Oct. 16, 2024 - The Tampa Housing Authority (THA) will host the official launch of the "Buy it Rent it PROFIT" Education Program on October 23 at its headquarters, 5301 W Cypress St, Tampa, from noon to 2 p.m. This groundbreaking initiative makes THA the first housing authority in the country to adopt this comprehensive platform, which aims to empower landlords with essential tools and education for property management success. 

The platform offers landlords access to on-demand courses covering key areas such as property management, tenant relations, legal compliance, and real estate investment strategies. The platform also provides advanced tools for rent collection, maintenance tracking, tenant communication, financial analyzers, and an extensive resource library featuring tailored templates and contracts. Landlords will also benefit from opportunities for networking and community-building with industry professionals.

The Tampa Housing Authority signed up to "Buy it Rent it PROFIT" to make it available free of charge to THA landlords, with the goal of encouraging greater participation in HUD's Housing Choice Voucher program, commonly known as the Section 8 Program.
