The Art of the Possible Documentary Media Alert
A new chapter unfolds at ENCORE! for the former St. James Episcopal Church, historically restored to become Tampa's Black History Museum at ENCORE! The Tampa Housing Authority has plans to partner with the Tampa Bay History Center to operate the museum. Our inaugural event will be the special screening of THE ART OF THE POSSIBLE. This will be the museum's first event, with more to be scheduled in the coming months. The museum is located adjacent to other buildings at ENCORE! such as the Tempo to the north and the Trio to the south.

Where: Tampa's Black History Museum at ENCORE!
A prescreening reception will take place just outside the museum, where opportunities for photos can be made available. Guests will proceed to the inside of the museum for an approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes long documentary screening. Program participants will include special guest U.S. Congresswoman Kathy Castor, Tampa Housing Authority's Board Vice-Chair Bemetra Salter Liggins, the Tampa Bay History Center's Fred Hearns, Dr. Davina Jones from the Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune National Alumni Association and Tampa Housing Authority President/CEO Jerome D. Ryans.
